THE QUIZ is a free browser-based trivia game available at thequiz.cc. It is operated by PricePrism. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at the contact details at the bottom of this page.

We collect minimal data to operate the game. Specifically:

Leaderboard scores — if you choose to submit your score to the global leaderboard, we store your chosen 3-character callsign, your score, the difficulty level, and the date. No personally identifiable information is attached to this. This data is stored in our database (Supabase) and is publicly visible on the leaderboard.

Local storage — your coin balance, unlocked themes, pets, and pet names are saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it.

Daily challenge completions — we record whether the daily challenge has been completed for a given day. No personal information is attached to this record.

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personal information.

THE QUIZ uses Ezoic to display advertisements. Ezoic may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to show you personalised ads based on your browsing activity across websites.

THE QUIZ is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Since we do not collect personal information beyond anonymous leaderboard scores, there is very little data to request or delete. If you submitted a leaderboard score and want it removed, contact us with your callsign and score and we will delete it.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and delete any personal data we hold about you.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
